About Ada Yacht Works

Ada Yacht Works is a custom yacht builder in Bodrum, on Turkey's Aegean coast. Its yard is at Içmeler, on the Bodrum peninsula. Its website carries the tagline "with ADA since '93" and describes the company as an organisation of Ada Turizm. The yard says it works from an enclosed area of 4,000 square metres and builds custom yachts in steel, aluminium and wood, and that its yachts have ranged from 15-metre motor yachts to 50-metre sailing yachts. It is not to be confused with Ada Shipyard, which was established in Tuzla, Istanbul, in 2008.

The yard's own fleet list runs from the 15-metre La Perla, through 35-metre yachts such as Casa dell'Arte and Emmanuel, to its 50-metre builds. Its earlier work includes sailing yachts. The 46-metre Zenith, a two-masted schooner, was built in steel to RINA class, to a design by Dykstra Naval Architects, and delivered in 2013. Le Pietre, a classic sailing yacht from 2009, was built in wood-epoxy.

In 2018 the yard delivered All About U, a 49.99-metre motorsailer with naval architecture and exterior design by Ginton Naval Architects. At 483 GT she was the yard's largest yacht by length and volume when delivered. A sistership of 492 GT, All About U 2, followed in 2019 and overtook her in tonnage, built as the second hull of a design marketed as the Global 50. Both take 12 guests in six cabins and run on twin Caterpillar diesels.

Since 2023 the yard has concentrated on the ADA 50Z, a 50-metre motor yacht series with a straight bow and a full displacement hull. The exteriors are by Uldas Yacht Design, the naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects and the engineering by Norse Design, with interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. The first hull was sold in the first quarter of 2023, in a deal made directly between the buyer and the yard, and entered construction that February. She was launched in Bodrum in May 2025 as Legasea, a steel and aluminium yacht of just under 500 GT. The second hull, NB102, began construction in Bodrum in July 2023 with a layout that has two owner's cabins. The hull of the third, NB103, was built at Norse Shipyard in Kocaeli, to be moved to Bodrum for outfitting; in 2024 delivery was scheduled for 2026.

In February 2026 Ada announced that it had laid the keel of DaGuSha VII, a 49.9-metre yacht of 499 GT. She is the fourth unit of the yard's 50-metre series and the first of its new Elite line, with exterior and interior both designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. Delivery is planned for 2028. In that announcement BOAT International named Onur Tekin as the yard's chief executive and Tufan Güleş as a co-founder. In May 2025 the company told the Turkish press that 380 people were working at the yard and that it builds custom yachts of 30 to 60 metres.
